Mar 08, 2017 - 15:46

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Pakistani forces have fired 124 more rockets into eastern Kunar province, inflicting financial losses on people, an official claimed on Wednesday.

The provincial police chief, Faridullah Dehqan, told Pajhwok Afghan News the 124 rockets and artillery shells were fired into Dangam, Sarkano and Khas Kunar districts.

He said the shelling had inflicted financial losses on people, but did not cause life loss. Over the past three weeks, the Pakistani military has been shelling four border districts of eastern Nangarhar and Kunar provinces.

In addition to inflicting casualties on civilians, the attacks caused heavy financial losses and displaced hundreds of families.

In reaction to the acts of cross-border aggression, Afghanistaninfo-icon has lodged a complaint against Pakistaninfo-icon with the United Nations.
