18 injured in Parwan traffic mishap

CHARIKARinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Eighteen people, including womeninfo-icon and children, were wounded in a traffic accident on the Kabulinfo-icon-Parwan highway in central Parwan province on Saturday, officials said.

Parwan Traffic Director Mohammad Younis Pardesi told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident happened at round 4:00am in Rabat locality.

He said a 304-bus crashed head on with Comaz vehicle leaving seven wounded.

But, Dr. Abdul Qasem Sangin, in charge of the local hospital, said they received 18 injured including three children, four women, and 11 men.

The healthinfo-icon conditions of three men were critical who had been shifted to Kabul for better treatment and the remaining 15 people were discharged from hospital after treatment, he added.

Separately, four people were wounded when a corolla car collided with a truck in the same area on Thursday night.
