MoI urges public to cooperate with forces to ensure security

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has undertaken strict security measures country-wide on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and asked people to cooperate with security forces.

Addressing a press conference MoI spokesman Najibullah Danish told reporters special direction had been issues to security institution to take firm security measure during Eid days.

He said besides security forces on duty, special units of Disaster Management, Department of Police Healthinfo-icon Services, Traffic Police, Quick Response Forces and Reserved contingents of MoI had been asked to be ready in case of any unfortunate incident.

While stressing public cooperation for improved security, Danish said: “Without the support of common people security is not possible so we urge people to fully cooperate with security forces.”

He said people could contact 119, 100, 2100 or 400 to convey to police any suspected activities or individual. The service he said would be available round the clock.
